My chronicles

Etymologies, expressions, languages and hard-to-translate words: what language reveals about how we think, feel and decide.

The DNA of Language

Words are not neutral labels: they carry their history, their culture and a way of seeing. Here I follow their trail with curiosity, without an academic’s gown and with the odd smile along the way.

The Sense of Words

Words hold the memory of how we feel, think and decide. Here I gather curious origins of terms linked to emotions, psychology, the mind, the market, technology and AI, always read through the lens of customer experience.

I love playing with words, expressions and double meanings, always with a pinch of humour: the kind that makes you smile and think at the same time. The Sense of Words was born a little from that.

Some suggest that our relationship with brands follows rules very similar to those of human relationships: trust, desire, attachment… or rejection.
